While all eggs in the Fairytale Bloomer collection are laid by hens that produce heavily bloomed shells, bloom is a naturally inherited trait and cannot be guaranteed in the offspring. Whether future hens produce bloom will depend on the genetics each chick inherits.

Fairytale Bloomer Hatching Eggs are for those who love the soft, dreamy beauty of heavily bloomed shells. Each set is gathered from hens known for producing eggs with that signature chalky, velvety bloom that gives them their enchanting, storybook look.

Bonus eggs may be included when the hens allow it.

You’ll receive six (6) fresh hatching eggs selected from pens that consistently produce heavily bloomed eggs. Colors may include blush pinks, warm peaches, sage greens, soft creams, earthy browns, and other gentle pastel tones, all finished with the natural powdery bloom that gives these eggs their fairytale appearance.

Every egg carries that beautiful bloom, but color, shade, and tone will vary. Variation is part of the charm and ensures that each clutch feels like its own little treasure gathered from the nest boxes.

Because these eggs come from multiple pens and carefully selected bloom-producing lines, chicks may hatch displaying a variety of colors, patterns, and traits. Each hatch is unique and part of the joy of working with these special layers.

Eggs are collected daily and handled with care, coming from healthy, well-maintained breeding stock here on the homestead. Breeding pens are actively monitored, and fertility is confirmed through regular test hatches. Each egg is stored properly prior to shipment or local pickup to give it the best possible start.

While fertility is guaranteed at the time of shipment, hatching eggs are always a bit of a leap of faith. Once eggs leave the homestead, hatch rates and final outcomes depend on factors beyond our control, including shipping conditions and individual incubation practices. For this reason, hatch rates and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

By purchasing hatching eggs, you acknowledge these natural risks and understand that fertility is guaranteed, but hatch results are not.
