Our Isabel Ameraucanas are the soft-spoken romantics of the flock. They’re bred here with attention to health, gentle personalities, and reliable blue eggs, and they tend to leave a lasting impression without ever demanding attention. This listing includes six (6) fresh hatching eggs, collected daily and handled carefully from nest to carton.

Bonus eggs included when the hens allow it.

Isabel coloring comes from a quiet meeting of lavender and wheaten, two genes that soften rather than shout. Instead of a single, fixed shade, these birds wear layers of cream, silver, and pale lavender that drift and change depending on feather age and light. Some look warmer and buttery, others cooler and silvery, and all of it is normal for Isabels. This line was sourced from Eight Acres Farm and has been lovingly maintained here.

Roosters often grow into pale dove-gray or lavender bodies brushed with cream through the hackles, saddles, and wing bows. Hens usually carry creamy wheaten bodies with lavender tucked into the wings and tail, sometimes catching a soft lilac or silvery glow as feathers age. No two birds wear the color in quite the same way, and that gentle variation is part of their beauty.

Eggs are typically medium and range from light to medium blue, occasionally leaning toward a soft blue-green. Color can shift slightly with season and light, which is natural and expected.

Because lavender can affect feather strength over time, Isabel projects benefit from thoughtful pairing. Periodically returning to Wheaten helps keep feathering tidy and balanced, preserving the soft look Isabels are known for.

In temperament, Isabel Ameraucanas tend to be observant and quietly friendly. They’re the kind of birds that watch from the edge of the run, curious and aware, content to be nearby without being demanding.

If you’re drawn to pastel feathers, blue eggs, and birds that feel like they belong in a quiet morning garden, Isabel Ameraucanas bring that kind of gentle, old-world charm to the coop.

Disclaimer

Our birds are raised with care and intention, emphasizing gentle temperaments, steady productivity, and overall usefulness within a balanced flock. We thoughtfully work our lines toward the breed Standard of Perfection (SOP) over time, while keeping health, practicality, and livability at the heart of our breeding goals. These birds are not offered as show or exhibition quality, but are well suited for home flocks, hobby breeders, and small-scale breeding projects.

Eggs are collected daily and handled with care, coming from healthy, well-maintained breeding stock here on the homestead. Breeding pens are actively monitored, and fertility is confirmed through regular test hatches. Each egg is stored properly prior to shipment or local pickup to give it the best possible start.

While fertility is guaranteed at the time of shipment, hatching eggs are always a bit of a leap of faith. Once eggs leave the homestead, hatch rates and final outcomes depend on factors beyond our control, including shipping conditions and individual incubation practices. For this reason, hatch rates and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

By purchasing hatching eggs, you acknowledge these natural risks and understand that fertility is guaranteed, but hatch results are not.
