Blueberry Basket is a thoughtfully curated mix of blue-egg genetics, bringing together purebred Isabel Ameraucanas, purebred Cream Legbars, and Aurora Eggers. This collection blends the consistency of established breeds with a touch of individuality, creating a balanced and quietly beautiful assortment.

This listing includes six (6) fresh hatching eggs, collected daily and handled with care from nest to carton. Eggs will be a mix from these three groups, and each order may vary slightly depending on availability at the time of packing.

Bonus eggs included when the hens allow it.

This bundle offers both reliability and variety. The Isabel Ameraucanas and Cream Legbars are purebred lines and will hatch according to their expected breed characteristics, including consistent feather patterns, type, and recognizable traits. Cream Legbars may display their signature crests, while Ameraucana chicks will typically carry muffs and beards true to the breed.

Aurora Eggers (Easter Eggers) add a layer of individuality. Chicks from this group may vary in feathering, color, and features, with the possibility of traits such as frizzle, muffs, or clean faces depending on parentage. No two Aurora Eggers will grow out exactly the same, and that variation is part of their charm.

Egg color across the Blueberry Basket is centered around blue, typically ranging from light sky blue to medium blue, with occasional soft blue-green tones depending on pairing and season. As with all blue-based layers, color may shift slightly throughout the year, which is natural and expected.

Temperaments across these lines tend to be balanced and well-suited for home flocks. You can expect a mix of curious, observant birds and quietly friendly personalities that integrate well and bring a calm presence to the coop.

Our birds are raised with care and intention, emphasizing gentle temperaments, steady productivity, and overall usefulness within a balanced flock. We thoughtfully work our lines toward the breed Standard of Perfection (SOP) over time, while keeping health, practicality, and livability at the heart of our breeding goals. These birds are not offered as show or exhibition quality, but are well suited for home flocks, hobby breeders, and small-scale breeding projects.

Eggs are collected daily and handled with care, coming from healthy, well-maintained breeding stock here on the homestead. Breeding pens are actively monitored, and fertility is confirmed through regular test hatches. Each egg is stored properly prior to shipment or local pickup to give it the best possible start.

While fertility is guaranteed at the time of shipment, hatching eggs are always a bit of a leap of faith. Once eggs leave the homestead, hatch rates and final outcomes depend on factors beyond our control, including shipping conditions and individual incubation practices. For this reason, hatch rates and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

By purchasing hatching eggs, you acknowledge these natural risks and understand that fertility is guaranteed, but hatch results are not.
